Highly recommend staying at Blackberry Wood. It was a magical stay especially for the children. The treehouse is something I have only ever seen abroad. The carving on it was beautiful. Cleanliness was 10/10. Our kids were 2 and 4 and had the best time. Thank you so much!

We had the most wonderful week staying in Angus the Fire Engine over May half term. Everything was set up to ensure we had a wonderful time. From the incredibly friendly welcome we received when we arrived, the cleanliness and well thought through accomodation to the beautiful scenery and location. The Fire Engine has a parking area very close which meant it was really easy to unpack/pack everything up. There is a great play area for the kids just outside as well, in addition to the larger play area in the woods. My son loved the swing, ping pong table and Guinea pig world. The Fire Engine itself was fantastic. Clean beautifully presented with lots of attention to detail and fun elements (even the door handles are fire engines!). The shower had good pressure, the beds are so comfy and the induction hob made cooking so quick and easy. The best thing though, are the onsite team. They were just lovely to deal with and really took the time to make my son feel welcome as well. There were no issues whilst we were there, but I feel that I would have been in good hands, should there have been. We also loved the Fairy Forest School as well. It was a magical addition to a brilliant stay.

Was absolutely beautiful and a unique place to stay. Staff were lovely and welcoming. I stayed for 2 nights camping. There were only one of two showers working and toilet rolls were not stocked up second day so by the evening, there was one toilet roll in the disabled toilet and no paper or hand towels left in the other two toilets. This also meant the bins were not pleasant! There was also no food waste bags in the holder. They did have lots of sinks and soap available which was great. I felt for the price, I'd expect sanitary items to be better maintained/stocked up. I would probably return again but make use of their option to select a pitch, check showers are working and take toilet roll just in case :)
