Work has now commenced on our second Tree House and for those of you willing to put up with some building noise between the hours of 8am-5pm we are offering specially priced stays in our Tree House no 1. This is for stays Sunday-Thursday incl. and the 2-night minimum rule still applies. No bedding included in this rate. Book online.
Today the team arrived to crack on with the work on our second Tree House. From now on, there will be some noise produced from the building site between the hours of 8am-5pm Monday-Friday every week (not half term!) so please bear this in mind when booking with us.
Next week we will welcome our very first guests to the Tree House. 2 1/2 years of hard work means that this is a true labour of love and we hope you are going to love it as much as we do.

Please join us in welcoming Duncan and Wendy to the Blackberry Wood gang. They are our new warden couple who will help us run the site and they are very much looking forward to meeting you all!
We had a special visit from former Royal Navy Pilot Jerry Grayson who flew our Holicopter on 5 occasions in his career. He has now written a book about his life and as part of his book tour is trying to trace all the aircraft he once flew. He was quite surprised to find one in the woods in Sussex but had a good night’s sleep in our Holicopter! Read more here:
Our new, fabulously wacky toilets have landed on the Wild Side! Designed and built by local talent Rob Demel.
Exciting news! Blackberry Wood’s latest addition is the Curvy Cabin. For those of you who want to do it in style, this beautiful, comfortable Curvy Cabin offers accommodation for a family with a double bed as well as a bunk room.
Brought from the Grand Design Show 2012 to Blackberry Wood, we think you’ll agree that this cabin is something special. The cabin is situated in the proximity of the Holiday Bus, the Holicopter and the Gypsy caravan and once all the drainage connections are finished, it will be completely self-contained, with trendy toilet and shower as well as a kitchen.
Until then, the cabin can be rented but using the campsite facilities. For stays before the end of April, please email us to book. For stays from May onwards, please use our online booking system. The pricing until May will be £70 per night plus £5 per adult and £2.50 per child and all bookings have to be for a minimum of 2 nights only. The cabin comes equipped with a gas hob, a fridge and all cooking utensils and crockery. However, you will need to bring your own bedding, including pillows. From May, the price will be £100 per night plus number of people.
The Helicopter is ready! She’s had a new coat of paint on the outside and a whole new inside. We think she looks great! We’re only waiting for the booking system to be updated and we’re off! So if you fancy the idea of spending New Year’s Eve somewhere very different, now’s your chance!
Be sure to follow us on Twitter or like us in Facebook to get last minute availability and occasional Blackberry Wood news.
Because many people have booked pitches up to a year in advance often at the last minute we will release cancelled pitches or pitches where there have been no shows.
