About Us

The Campsite has a maximum of 20 tents and the camping pitches are in cosy little private woodland glades (some glades are unsuitable for tents larger than 5m x 3m see booking pages for details).

We also have a Holiday Bus, a romantic Gypsy Caravan, a Holicopter, a Retro Caravan, a lovely Curvy Cabin and our amazing new Treehouse for rent. Campfires and bbqs are allowed. You can cook food over an open fire using our grills (now available in all glades).

Dry Logs and bbq coals are for sale in our on-site shop which also sells essentials. The area is surrounded by public footpaths and bridleways.

Campers are given a local map pointing out suggested walks, some to excellent local country pubs (see the info page). The campsite is alive with the sound of birds

There are basic toilets, hot showers ( takes 20p pieces) and washing up areas. Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

We ask our campers to either bring their own fire wood or buy ours and not to pick any dead wood on site as this is essential for our wildlife habitat.

Please see our check-in times in the faqs section and check with us if you are not able to arrive by 8 pm. We are a small, family-run site with an additional warden couple helping us run things smoothly and late arrivals will make our working days very long, as well as be disruptive to other guests on site.
